Membership transfers, new service, service area and cross co

Things to Know

When you purchase property in Double Horn Creek, your real estate agent should be able to tell you if the current owner is a member of DHCWSC.  Memberships are Transferable as described below.  If the current owner is not a member, you can establish New Service as described below.


We encourage prospective property owners to contact Spicewood Utility Services  with any questions you have.  We're pleased to get to know you and to help you get started.  We'll respond promptly.


Here is the current Monthly Rate Schedule.


  • Starting New Service with DHCWSC:  Download the Membership Application Packet, fill it out, print and sign it, and return it with a check for $4,500 ($1,500 new membership fee + $3,000 prepaid tap fee) to the new address indicated in the instructions.
  • Transferring Service from the previous owner to yourself:  Download the Membership Application Packet, fill it out, print and sign it, and return it with a check for $100 to the address indicated in the instructions.
  • Stopping Service with DHCWSC:  Please contact Spicewood Utility Services.
  • Paying Your Bill:  Bills are sent at the end of each month and are due before the 15th of the next month.  There are three options for paying your bill:

                          1.  Send your payment by check to

                                P.O. Box 631, Spicewood, TX.  78669

                          2.  Automatically deduct your bill payment from your credit card on file

                               on the 14th of the month.  

                          3.  Login to your account and submit your online payment at a

                                convenient time.

Once you establish service in your name, you need to establish Cross Connection Control.

DHCWSC Service Area

The Double Horn Creek WSC holds Certificate #12913 issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).  The service area is located approximately 7 miles south-south east of downtown Marble Falls, Texas in southern Burnet County.  The total certificated area includes 876.68 acres and serves approximately 100 members.
