SET ALERTS

Once you register with Waterscope,  you can provide your email address and/or mobile number so you can alert messages via email or texts.  This is the most basic use of Waterscope.    

1) Go to www.waterscope.us and login.

2) In the left column, second from the bottom, click on Notifications.

3) Near the middle of the page are 5 tabs:  Verification, Set Notification, Alert Schedule, Unexpected Usage, and Consumption Per Day.  Read below on how to set each of these tabs.

1) Click on the Verification tab if not already selected.  This section allows you to enter your primary and secondary email addresses for the notifications. You can also enter your mobile phone

number(s) for text message notifications.

2) Under "Alert Mode", click email, text, or both and enter the necessary information.  This is where any alerts will be sent.  You may add additional emails and phone numbers, if desired, for these alerts.

5) Click Save and/or Apply as necessary.

1) Click on the Set Notification tab if not already selected.  This section allows you to opt-in to any of the available condition alerts.

2) Under your normal water usage, you will not receive any notifications.  

5) Click Save.

1) Click on the Alert Schedule tab if not already selected.  This allows you to create a custom schedule for receive the alerts.  

2) In the Emergency Alert Interval pulldown menu, you may select 15 min, hourly, or daily.  Daily is the recommended default.

3) Check the days of the week that you would like to be alerted.  Selecting every day of the week is recommended.

5) Click Save.

1) Click on the Unexpected Usage tab if not already selected.  This function allows you to identify any unexpected consumption.  This feature is especially useful if the home is vacant or unoccupied for some period of time.  You can activate this function for a date range and for specific days of the week.  

2) Enter the date range for monitoring unexpected usage, and click the days you would like to receive the alerts. 

3) Click Apply.

1) Click on the Consumption Per Day tab if not already selected.  This tab allows you to choose whether or not you want to receive alerts for a daily usage threshold or temperature threshold.      

2) I the Consumption box, enter the number of gallons.  A good number to start with is 500 and then adjust from there depending on your daily usage.  

3) Minimum temperature default is 0.  

4) Click on the notification(s) you would like to receive.  

3) Click Save.
